Bayview Boulevard Hotel – William Street Sydney

This stylish coffee bar in the lobby of the Bayview Boulevard Hotel provides a comfortable and contemporary spot for a snack. Previously a redundant wine bar, major renovations were undertaken to convert this area into a profitable enterprise.



The floor was lowered to be level with the main lobby floor. A new separate entrance was created with automatic doors, an external ramp and stairs. The bar was completely stripped and refitted with new floor and wall finishes, benching, and plumbing to suit the café servery. A slick new timber veneer bulkhead over the servery replicates the design elements of the lobby space (also by Trapezoid Interior Design).

The distinctive aluminium lighting was custom made for this project and is complemented by the inset aluminium ceiling tiles.
